Lovely little cottage on a sunny lot. Small, sweet and cozy, this quaint cottage is about 300 sq ft.
It is located within a 1/2 acre perimeter fenced compound, and surrounded by its own redwood privacy fence, with a huge redwood deck.
The French doors in the front open up to bring the outdoors in, giving the tiny cottage an expansive feel. There is another single door in the rear into the kitchen, and opening up to the gas grill on the kitchen deck.
We are in a quiet neighborhood, with great neighbors all around.
Monte Rio is very special, even compared to the other local towns, because we are in a "banana belt", meaning we have sun when neighboring towns are fogged in; a result of our microclimate.
We very rarely experience hot weather, even when the rest of the world is sweltering.
Aside from the wonderful climate, the hamlet of Monte Rio boasts community tennis courts, a golf course, restaurants, a coffee shop, an amphitheater, a local cinema, many local events, a well stocked local market and much, much more.
We are on the Sonoma County Transit lines of routes 28 and 20. Centrally located to Guerneville (10 minutes), Occidental (12 minutes), Duncans Mills (10 minutes), the coast at Jenner (20 minutes), Sebastopol (25 minutes), Forestville (20 minutes), Santa Rosa (30 minutes), Petaluma (45 minutes).

Photos show furnished unit, but we offer the cottage either furnished or unfurnished. We require a lease that expires each year on May 31st, and we renew each each on that date for all tenants.
