Pets: One cat would be ok, but no dogs
Furniture: The studio is unfurnished.
The private studio is well-located in sunny Homestead Valley. Mill Valley is sought after for it's proximity to the whole San Francisco Bay area. We are:
• Close to Whole Foods, Safeway, and Good Earth market
• Attached to a single–family home, and not part of an apartment complex
• Close to many great restaurants, excellent theater, and beautiful, historic downtown Mill Valley
• Enjoy the peaceful, Old Mill Valley neighborhood
• Close to the direct bus to SF, close to downtown Mill Valley, a 10 minute drive to the Golden Gate Bridge & Muir Woods, and 15 minutes to Muir Beach. Easy commute to San Francisco, and close to trails for hiking, biking, and nature. It’s also on the sunny side of Mill Valley (not Tam Valley).
An optional housecleaning service every other week is available for an additional expense.
I live in the main house and am looking for someone who is responsible, employed (mostly outside the home), clean, quiet, considerate, and has good communication skills.
An important aspect of living here is the quality of the consciousness of the people who live on the property. We are clean, caring, and respectful. This property is a sanctuary. I would like someone who is willing to keep the front deck clean. Please: no smoking, drama, heavy alcohol use, or drugs (including pot and vaping).
To move in: $2300 for the 1st month's rent + a $2300 deposit that will be returned when you move out.

Due to the feeling of sanctuary on this property, I am very discerning about who lives here, and I like to have a Zoom conversation before showing the studio. The studio is available for moving in on January 1st, 2026.
