Still using Windows 10? As you probably know, Microsoft just ended support for Windows 10. But, Windows 11 requires a brand new computer with specific hardware, meaning they want you to buy a new computer just to upgrade. But this is needless: you can switch to Linux!

Benefits of Linux:
-free to install and use
-no ads (unlike Windows 11!), bloatware, or spyware
-stable and secure
-highly customizable
-comes with LibreOffice (like MS Office)
-wide range of free applications available
-supports Steam and a variety of games
-Windows compatibility layers (eg. Wine) to help bridge the gap to some programs

Some beginner friendly distributions include Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Zorin, and Pop! OS.
