I believe that this is a genuine antique, over 100 years old.

It is solid wood, not particle board. I am not sure what type wood it is made from.

The drawers show hand cut dovetails, not machine cut.

The drawers also all have bookmatched veneers.

The top needs to be reattached as does one of the drawer handles.

The drawers are a little hard to open.

It appears that a 1 inch wide section was removed from the back of the top piece.

This is a very nice piece of furniture that just needs a little help.

It should be restored by someone who knows what they are doing.

It measures 40 by 19 by 39 inches.
