Only 1,876 miles on them. Mounted on vintage car in the mid aughts so I'd have the correct aspect of bias with the advantage of radials. Always in cooler, dark garage, not exposed to heat or UV rays. Perfect for trailer, rollers, etc.
Tire companies make blanket statements to make their lawyers happy thinking how tires generally used, most cars, light trucks parked all day in the sun, also wanting to increase profits, hence their adviso to replace every eight, max 10 years. Could probably have driven on them another who knows how many years, but also wanted a set specifically crafted for cars of the '40s, not light trucks.
Bring your brightest light and magnifying glass. Feel them.
While i cleaned them with a kitchen sponge and a couple drops of shampoo before a show, they have never, e v e r had a single drop of tire dressing, Armorall, any of that garbage on them, tire companies never recommending such rubbish, which only builds a heat-transfer inhibiting film. So no gleaming, bolshoi photos.
Michelin, and recently Yokohama (the latter a Canadian company despite the name) discontinued the identical spec tire as these Bridgestone R230s. Topnotch, high quality tires, no longer available a n y w h e r e .
