I'm collecting my grandfather's writings, and want to get a copy of his dissertation at UC Berkeley. They do offer a scanning service for this, but I'm hoping to do better on the price. Can I find some enterprising UC Berkeley student with full library privileges and who knows their way around a scanner to get it for me? (There MIGHT be an online version on microfiche already, but I can't tell for sure, and I don't have access to it either.) The dissertation is 529 leaves with foldout maps, at currently at the library's offsite storage facility. Citation available upon request. Payment via either PayPal or Venmo upon receipt.
