Looking for rocks that stack (fremont / union city / newark)

I’m hoping someone has what I’m looking for. I’m looking for rocks that can be stacked, the type one might use in an aquarium for a lizard.
Slate/shale / I believe are the two most used types. I don’t need a large quantity of it, it’s for a small porch project.
