Hello, I'm an active 72 yr old looking for a small to medium size companion dog who needs rehoming. Ideally, the dog would be house-trained, crate-trained, fairly calm, playful, enjoys long walks, is food motivated and good around small children and other dogs. Weight 30 lbs or less. I have had many dogs in my life and have trained them all, but would like to forego the training this time if possible. I can provide the following: good companionship, lots of walks (usually 3 times a day) play, cuddles and love, healthy food, attentive health care, and a large fully fenced safe back yard. Whenever possible I take a dog with me in the car for errands etc... but I need a dog that is crate trained and without separation anxiety so I can leave the dog at home, safe and quiet in a crate when I need to be at an appointment.
