Hello Vallejo community,
I’m seeking volunteers, collaborators, and long-term partners to help create a sober living environment rooted in community, purpose, and mutual support. This project is not just for addicts, but for people who want a substance-free, stable, and meaningful way of living while contributing to something bigger than themselves.
The vision is to develop a farmstead-based sober living community that combines:
-Shared housing with clear sobriety agreements
-Small-scale farming, gardening, and land stewardship
-Skill-sharing, peer support, and community responsibility
-Service-oriented projects that benefit the greater Vallejo region
-Long-term goals include building replicable, community-oriented living models, and developing services that support:
-Stability and accountability
-Mental and emotional wellness
-Job skills, life skills, and self-sufficiency
-Stronger local connections and healthier neighborhoods
Who I’m looking for:
-People interested in sober or substance-free living
-Individuals with skills in farming, construction, organizing, counseling, education, or nonprofit work
-Community members who want to help design ethical, people-first solutions
-Potential land partners, mentors, or mission-aligned investors (values matter more than money)
This is early-stage and grassroots, built on transparency, shared values, and realistic planning. If you’re tired of systems that isolate people and want to help build something grounded, practical, and humane, I’d love to connect.
Please reply with:
-A short intro about yourself
-Why this project resonates with you
-How you might like to be involved (volunteer, partner, advisor, etc.)
Let’s explore how we can build healthier ways of living—together.
