Key Responsibilities:
Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport cargo or equipment to designated locations.
Inspect vehicles daily before and after trips to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries or pickups.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and hours of service using logs or electronic systems.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or delays.
Perform routine maintenance tasks or notify maintenance personnel when repairs are needed.
Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Requirements:
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
Proven experience as a commercial driver.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
Ability to lift up to [50-100 lbs] and perform physical labor as needed.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts if required.
