Full time flatbed tow truck driver with experience needed, may train the right person.
Job duties will include:
Towing all types of vehicles for all types of customers & public agency officers, in all types of situations, no matter the weather, in a professional & friendly manner, without causing damage.
Perform tire changes, jump starts, gas delivery, lockouts.
Working around the shop & storage yard as needed when it's slow.
SCHEDULE WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS and a few on-call nights every week, this is not negotiable!
Must live locally for <30 minute response time on your on-call nights.
Able to take the truck home on your on-call nights, because you live locally.
Need to be at least 25 years old because of insurance requirements.
No felonies on record for public agency rotation towing approval.
Pre-employment drug & alcohol screen and Live Scan required, paid by employer.
The position is subject to random drug & alcohol testing per CHP requirements, paid by employer.
Hourly pay depends on experience and revisited after the first 90 days.
Night calls are paid commission only.
