Bay Area Hot Tub Boat is looking for a Part-time Dock Hand to assist in the management of operating 90 minute hot tub boat rentals for groups looking to celebrate outdoors in this unique and exciting boat rental business on the water!
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Bay Area Hot Tub Boat Dock hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our hot tub boats, ensuring a positive experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess some boat knowledge and have experience driving, operating, and docking boat, allowing them to assist in the maintenance and operation of our unique hot tub boat fleet.
Responsibilities
Safely dock and launch hot tub boats while ensuring customer safety at all times.
Perform routine maintenance checks on boats, including mechanical inspections and rigging adjustments.
Assist customers with boarding and disembarking from the hot tub boats, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly and cleaned thoroughly.
Monitor water levels in the hot tub boat, proper cleaning, and monitoring weather conditions to ensure safe boating operations.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during operations.
Provide guidance and information to customers about boat features and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a dock hand or similar role is preferred but not required.
Background in boating operation is essential for providing customer tutorial on boat tasks effectively.
Familiarity with rigging techniques is a plus, enhancing operational efficiency.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
