Vintage Restoration Dream: This brand represents a golden era in American travel history, synonymous with luxury, innovation, and adventure. This 1957 Airfloat Landyacht was my late father’s trailer. He loved vintage campers. He started the renovation process but was unable to complete the work before he passed away. Body Style: The all-aluminum skin with anodized gold (introduced in 1957), with corrugated panels and signature porthole windows.
- Tandem axle
- New tires were installed in October 2024 and have very low miles of wear.
- Sleeping Capacity: Formerly slept 4-6, needs renovation to be functional
- Weight 3000 lbs.
- Condition: In need of a full renovation—ideal for a custom build or authentic restoration
- Title: Clean and clear
Interior woodwork is largely original, but water damage and dry rot are present in several areas. Some rewiring was done with the renovation work to date. The stove is gas and has not been hooked up in a long time. There is no refrigerator. Supplies: wood panels, rebuilt door and supplies for the renovation are present and ready for use. The trailer towed well on a 1200 mile trip in October 2024, but the braking system does not work.
