Maintenance Technician | $35–$40/hr (DOE) | Full-time
East Bay, CA
We're a hands-on property management company based in Oakland managing apartment units across the East Bay. Our highest-volume repair category is plumbing, so we're especially looking for someone with strong plumbing skills. You'll handle drain clogs, water heater issues, faucet and fixture repairs, toilet problems, and water pressure diagnostics on a daily basis. You'll also cover a wide range of other repairs independently and be a core part of a team.
- Plumbing (primary): drain and pipe clogs, water heater service, faucet and fixture repair, toilet diagnostics, water pressure issues, and leak detection.
- General repairs: electrical, HVAC, light carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior work.
- You'll own the work order queue and close tickets efficiently.
- Unit turns: prep vacant units for move-in, completing all make-ready repairs on schedule.
- Property inspections: regular walkthroughs for safety, curb appeal, and move-in/move-out documentation.
- Vendor coordination: inspect contractor work, provide site access, and flag quality issues.
- Multi-site coverage across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties (mileage reimbursed).
Compensation and benefits
$35–$40/hr depending on experience, with upward adjustment for strong plumbing background and consideration for having own tools

What we're looking for
Plumbing experience is a strong plus: drain clearing, water heaters, fixtures, toilets, and leak repair
Experience in building maintenance, facilities, or construction
Comfortable working independently across HVAC, electrical, and carpentry as well
Comes equipped with a professional tool kit (compensated in pay)
Valid driver's license for multi-site travel (transportation reimbursed)
Strong communicator, comfortable interacting with residents professionally
High school diploma or equivalent
