ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a field technician you will get on-the-job training and will be expected to learn how to perform preventative maintenance and major/ minor repairs on generators, once properly trained.
• Mechanical skills with knowledge of diesel and gaseous engines
• Knowledge of AC/DC power and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch)
• Repair and/or replace damaged parts on generators, including Engine, Generator and ATS Parts.
• Service generators with oil changes, tune-ups, electrical and cooling systems, refueling.
• Ability to operate a computer and fill out reports.
• Must be able to represent TEPS to our customers and communicate intelligently.
