Selling this like new QNAP rackmount NAS. This is much more than just a NAS as it can do all sorts of server functions with QNAPs first and third party apps. It can serve as a home media server, Time Machine server, backup server, virtual server, VPN, etc... I ran this for a home media and time machine server. It is overkill for what I used it for. This unit came with 8Gb of memory and no storage.
This thing is built for redundancy with dual hot swappable power supplies, ability to set up a whole variety of RAID or JBOD with whatever hard drives you throw into it.
I took out all the hard drives and recently reset the unit. All you need to do is put in a hard drive into one of the bays and initialize the server.
