complete retro gaming pc from around 2008-2010 running windows 7 64-bit (fresh install, all working drivers are in a folder on the boot drive in case you need them), however you're likely better off with windows 7 or xp for the nostalgic experience. suitable for emulation or retro gaming or tinkering with formerly high-end hardware.
it was an SLI system with two GTX 260's but one died and i upgraded to something else. it also has one hot-swap 3.5" hard drive bay and 2 2.5" drive bays. originally i was running RAID on the laptop disks for games/data and kept the single full size bay as the boot drive. currently it comes with a SATA HDD for boot (not hot swappable) and two SATA HDDs for games/data setup as a striped dynamic disk (functionally windows 7 software RAID).
no artifacts in 3d apps and sound et c is all working. note that the nForce SATA drivers, while fast, are notoriously unstable with modern ATA commands so the Microsoft ones are generally better (and are currently installed).
notable is the somewhat collectible Asus Striker II Extreme motherboard, although i lost the IO shield, POST display and optional fans years ago.
