Wanted: Housemate for month-to-month. Flexible with move-in dates.
Located in a 3-bedroom house with backyard, available for rent. The room has its own private entrance and an ensuite half-bath (toilet and sink) and comes furnished. The new tenant would be living with myself a 42-year-old female and my 53-year old female housemate who works at Berkeley Bowl. In March, my 55-year old female friend (who used to be Hey, Cookie!) will be moving in. There is also an elderly black cat who is friendly, but also self-imposes its borders to the living room.
More about me :
I am a freelance grant writer, Asian-American with New Yorker sensibilities. In my free time, I have fun with friends over dinner, karaoke, and long bike rides. I sometimes have dinner parties of between 2 and 15 people at the house. I am an extrovert (I appreciate saying Good Morning and How are you?), but also spend a lot of time watching tv and hanging out with the cat in the living room. I love cooking, and do this about two to three times per week. The other housemates don't cook very much.
The new tenant should be a very clean person who is ok with doing household chores that are communal, including cleaning up dirt and dust from communal dirtiness creation.
