Dates flexible but as of now I plan to be away March 23-April 13 (could extend slightly).
It's a charming, light-filled one-bedroom apartment in a 1920s building four blocks north of UC-Berkeley. It's furnished with a queen size bed, a comfy futon in the living room, adjustable height sitting/standing desk, fast wifi, a deep bathtub, colorful decor, and mostly happy plants!
I frequently travel for work and have flexibility to be away for approx 1-4 week periods at a time. Price is $500 per week. My landlord has given me permission to sublet for short periods of time, and so I am looking to find someone with short-term housing needs who would be respectful of the space and neighbors.
Note on parking: This could work for someone who drives to a 9-5, who doesn't have a car, or who has a separate parking solution. Parking is street (zone G in Berkeley residential parking), and so not readily available at least during the day M-F (would need to move the car every 2 hours). No issues to park on evenings and weekends.
I have a cat and hypoallergenic dog who come with me or stay with friends when I travel--the space is probably not for those with a cat allergy.
This is a perfume-free home: I am chemically sensitive and have asthma, and chemical perfumes (sprays but also in personal care products like deodorant) are not allowed in my space. I am happy to provide unscented products for you to use, and let me know if you have any questions!
