This large, sunny, private 17-1/2' x 16' bedroom and full bathroom are available in a 1726-sq ft furnished 2bd/2ba apartment in a craftsman house, directly facing lovely Live Oak Park. It is currently furnished with a queen bed with linens, bedside table and lamp, writing desk and wi-fi for remote work, meditation nook and furnishings in the bathroom too. I am also happy to remove them and rent it unfurnished, to your preference.
The 2 bd/2ba home is shared with me, Shoshana, and my 2.5 year old daughter. We have our own private bedroom and bathroom on the other side of the house. I’m a holistic private chef, artist and relationship coach (in training), with a love of nature, yoga, spontaneous kitchen dancing and 20 years experience co-living with housemates. I value direct communication and clarity about needs and preferences for harmony within the home. You’d share the kitchen and living room with us, and enjoy the privacy of having your bedroom without sharing a wall with us. Its quiet and you’re unlikely to hear us except when we’re in the kitchen. We’re looking for a family-friendly, tidy, health-conscious housemate who is responsible and consistent.
This neighborhood is the best in Berkeley! It is quiet, safe, full of beautiful gardens, walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and within a mile of UC Berkeley Campus, BART, and a few bus lines. A very great neighborhood for walking or cycling, with a half dozen public parks within a mile, including Live Oak Park across the street.
