Home away from home guest room available now! Comfy, sunny, fully furnished, all linens provided, full use of house and garden, shared bathroom. Very close to North Berkeley BART, busses, shops, and restaurants; approx 1.6 miles to Cal Berkeley and downtown. Well-suited to visiting scholars, people in transition, traveling workers, or anyone seeking a comfortable shorter-term stay in Berkeley. Rent includes all utilities, weekly cleaning, fast internet, and household supplies. Casual atmosphere, two congenial permanent residents ages 40 and 77, sometimes one other guest, one chill cat (must like animals!), large landscaped garden. Usually one month minimum booking (sometimes available for 1/2 month- inquire), maximum negotiable, but not seeking a long-term guest. Please drop a note if you're interested and tell us about yourself!

There is a $150 refundable security deposit, and a $40 one-time cleaning fee. A rent deposit will be due on booking.
