I am looking for someone who can take care of my beautiful south Berkeley home & garden while I am away, which may be several years. At the moment, I am open to 3 month, or 6 month rental with a very high possibility of extending.
My house is a gorgeous & light-filled Berkeley craftsman located in South Berkeley, right next to Whole Foods, the Starry Plough, the White Horse, Ashby Bart and multiple bus lines. Great place for families, especially new transplants to the Bay for academic or tech work. My house is across from a beautiful park, on a quaint, quiet street.

House is light-filled and open.
Has a porch with seating/table, garden with seating/table and views of the park.
Quaint front yard
Furnished, one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and other bedroom has a queen sofa bed.
Large kitchen.
Piano in the parlor (separate from the living room).

Next to Whole Foods.
Next to Telegraph and Shattuck Avenue, where the 6 and the 81 bus lines run, easy to get to downtown Oakland or to UC Berkeley.
15 min easy walk to downtown Berkeley.
10 min easy walk to UC Berkeley.
Very bikeable neighborhood-flat roads and few cars.
Quiet, tree-lined neighborhood with lots of dogs.
Peaceful and beautiful park across the street to relax in.
Close to many places to eat (vietnamese, burgers, creole, mexican, ethiopian, eritrian)
