About the apartment:
- Rent = $2,695 (water/garbage included), or $1347.50 per single bedroom
- Downtown Berkeley location, 5 min walk to Downtown Berkeley BART and 5 min walk to the East side of Cal Campus. Lots of buses run within a block of the apartment to the UC Berkeley campus and to the wider Bay Area
- 2 Bed, 1 Bath (both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes!!)
- Sunny kitchen with stone countertops, large fridge, and electric oven/stove
- In a safe neighbourhood near Berkeley High
- Under-building parking for an additional fee (I think $100/month, but can check if interested!!) and lots of curbside parking (which would require a city permit)
- Building managers are quick to respond to any issues (within 24hrs)
- Washer/dryer in apartment building (coin/app operated)
- The closest grocery store is the Trader Joe's on University and is a 7-minute walk; other grocery stores (Safeway, Whole Foods) are within a 10-minute bus ride/5 minute-car ride
- The apartment comes unfurnished, but since we are both leaving the country, we are happy to sell any furniture you are interested in for a secondhand rate (ie not market priced) or for free
- The apartment is wired up for Sonic and Xfinity wifi (we recommend Sonic as it is faster!)
- The building allows pets
