For anyone looking for home or garden projects now, I want to share my great experience this past week building retaining wall with handyman & builder Jesse Castillo 1 (415) 499-2143‬. He has built fences and a retaining wall for me in the past and I finally asked him to remove a failing brick retaining wall at my mother's house in Marin, and create a beautiful new garden wall . I have that feeling of "why did I wait to do this so long?" I'm sharing some photos of his work and will update with more pics of the before and after soon .
He has a very can-do attitude and gets the work done quickly and well. I told him the price in mind I had for the project he worked within budget, and discussed options and types of materials, and their cost.

He's also a nice and helpful person - he saw that my mom needed help installing the window Air Conditioner and helped her with that and some smaller jobs that needed to be done.
