I am looking for a private but small/basic room somewhere with an easy commute to the Berkeley National Lab by public transport, bike or legs for June 7th to mid-September. Since I know these dates are tough, I'd consider a summer sublet ending mid-August as well. This is for a 23 yr. old male engineering grad student who will be working at the National Labs. As long as the landlord would allow a microwave and dorm fridge, a kitchen would not be necessary. Access to most common areas in the house or a laundry room are also optional. I'm willing to share a bathroom. I just need an inexpensive place to sleep/shower when I'm not in the lab.
I don't smoke or drink. I'm quiet and respectful. Dogs and cats are both fine. In my current living situation in Davis I frequently house sit/cat sit for my landlords and I'd be happy to do that for you. I won't be bringing a car, so parking is not an issue. I'll likely be in the lab so much that you'll hardly know I'm there.
