ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to patrol and protect our commercial/industrial property in Union City, CA. This is an on-site, foot/vehicle patrol position covering after-hours weeknights and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the perimeter and property
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems
• Deter unauthorized entry, vandalism, and theft
• Document and report all incidents, suspicious activity, and access logs
• Greet and verify authorized personnel and vendors after hours
• Respond to alarms and contact emergency services (police/fire) when necessary
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity
• Complete detailed written incident reports as needed
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required)
• Minimum 1 year of security or related experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
COMPENSATION
• $20–$30/hour depending on experience
