We are seeking a full-time chemist to join our environmental laboratory team, Monday through Friday. The position available is for an entry-level to intermediate-level (0-3 years) analyst who can be flexible with hours.
The analyst is responsible for preparing standards, calibrating instruments, analyzing samples, and reviewing and exporting data.
Analyses are performed in accordance with prescribed EPA or other published methods
Qualifications:
A three- or four-year college degree in chemistry or another, preferably closely related, science.
The candidate will have at least introductory laboratory experience
Attention to detail is essential in all lab-related tasks
Strong work ethic and desire to learn
Teamwork-driven personality with Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good mechanical & troubleshooting skills are an asset
Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) software is an asset.
