This RV has been meticulously renovated. I spared no expense and spent thousands of hours on it.
It’s an Ultra by Gulfstream, built on a 1997 Ford E-350 chassis with a V8 5.4 engine. It has only 71,400 miles. It’s compact enough to fit in my driveway, and a lot easier to find parking compared to most RVs.
Bumper to bumper, I measure 22 feet, though the coach is about 20 feet front to back.
Clean title, pink slip in my hand, ready to sell.

NEW ROOF The old roof was completely removed, and ceiling removed from the AC forward. We created 4 new custom milled cross beams, with far more structural strength than the original 1” square aluminum beams. Then we added ⅜” plywood, to cover, then finished with ¼’ luan wood, and sealed with an EPDM rubber layer. It has been well maintained, and was recently repainted with special EPDM paint. The ceiling was insulated with styrofoam and Corning 703 pressed fiberglass insulation, then covered with ¼” luan wood and acoustic dampening BuzziSkin Anthricite 68 wall covering material by Buzzispace.
REBUILT INTERIOR OVER THE CAB I took all 3 windows out, replaced the wood around the windows and platform over the cab, and repainted the platform and window frames and used elastomeric tape and butyl tape for a watertight seal when I put everything back. I installed LEDs, and they look great. A remote control is included.
THE CABINETS I repainted all cabinets and drawers and replaced pulls and latches.
THE KITCHEN I replaced the microwave oven, and I replaced the kitchen counter with a custom made maple countertop, a new faucet, subway tiles and aluminum angle edging.
THE BATHROOM New faucet installed in the bathroom. New shower curtain and new door knob.
LIGHTING New LED lighting everywhere inside.
THE FLOOR I pulled out the old carpet and replaced it with wood grain style linoleum with aluminum angle trim.
THE GENERATOR I’ve had the Onan generator rebuilt, and recently replaced the starter and the voltage regulator, costing at least $4K over the last few years. It starts up easily every time, and runs like a top.
THE AIR CONDITIONERS The Coleman rooftop AC unit was taken down while we were working on the roof, taken to a shop where they put it on the bench and cleaned and serviced it. It works great. I cleaned it out again last summer. The AC in the engine was rebuilt last summer, along with the heater core. Everything is working great.
COACH POWER I replaced the heavy duty 30Amp plug on the long power cable that you plug into the outlet at the generator or shore power if you’re at a campsite. I’ll include a couple 30Amp to standard Edison 120V connectors so you can plug it in to a regular outlet at home. I’ll also include a surge protector you’d use for plugging it to an external power source. We also upgraded the main power distribution center control board, where the circuit breakers and fuses are. I installed 2 USB ports over the dining room table. I replaced the deep cycle coach battery 08/02/2025 with a high quality NAPA 8270 Deep Cycle battery. I got one of these 3 years ago, and it was rock solid and reliable.
THE FURNACE A couple years ago, we pulled out the furnace, cleaned it out and replaced the logic board and thermostat. It works great.
THE STEREO I put in a new Pioneer stereo with JBL speakers in the doors. It’s Bluetooth enabled, and there is a microphone mounted on the steering column for making calls. There are 2 additional speakers in the ceiling over the bed.
MATTRESS AND SEAT CUSHIONS I replaced the mattress in the main bed with a nice thick memory foam mattress and replaced the dinette seat cushions and slip covers. The dining room table drops down for an extra bed.
FRONT SEATS New black neoprene slipcovers for the front seats. New area carpet overlay for the cab.
SMOKE ALARMS I replaced the CO and smoke detectors.
HEADLIGHTS I replaced the headlights last week.
THE EXTERIOR We repainted the whole exterior, using high quality Sherwin Williams primer and top coat. I rebuilt the left and right back bottom corners, and added new metal to the bottom left and right rear panels. Most cam locks were replaced for more secure barrel locks.
THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS All running lights have been replaced with LEDs.
THE OVEN AND STOVE Checked for gas leaks. All good.
THE FRIDGE Works well on gas or Electric power.
SKYLIGHTS Replaced both skylights with new fans and screens.
BLINDS Replaced all the blinds.
THE DRAINS I replaced the drain valve for the black and gray water tanks, as well as the drain hose, which is stored in the rear bumper.
THE WHEELS Tires replaced a few years ago. Plenty of life left on them. Wheels rotated last year and brakes checked. All good. New hub caps too.
THE LADDER I removed the old ladder, and replaced it.
MISCELLANEOUS ACCESSORIES Random things I’ll include:
A privacy sun barrier windshield cover.
A bottle jack.
A USB car lighter adapter.
A Camco in line water filter with plenty of life left.
An RV drinking water hose.
Jumper cables.
A heavy duty universal 4-way cross lug wrench.
A few extra running lights and LED bulbs.
A box of fuses.
An iPhone holder for the dash.
A Club LX steering wheel security lock.
A Bouncie geolocator (bouncie.com) subscription required.
A cookie sheet and a casserole dish for the oven.
