About the Room:
- 15.5’ x 14’ with small balcony and two large closets (one walk-in)
- Accent wall currently painted green (orange wall is from previous roomie)
- East / Southeast facing windows
- Directly next to shared bathroom, living room
- Suitable for single tenant only
- Available: January 1, 2026 (flexible move-in date throughout January)
- Rent: $1,400 + 50% of utilities and shared household supplies (approximately $150-300 a month per person depending on season)
- Security Deposit: $500 security deposit.
- Move-In Costs: First month rent + last month rent + security deposit (lease was signed prior to AB 12)
- Lease length: Apartment lease is month-to-month, though ideally looking for someone that can stay for at least 6 months.
About the Flat:
- Recently remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with new hardwood floors, in-unit laundry, central fan/heat, garage parking. Bedrooms do not share a wall for great privacy!
- Top floor of a 5-unit building with shared backyard and patios

- Transportation: Easy access to 580/880. AC Transit 18, 14, 57, 62, NL in walking distance. Lake Merritt BART is 1.5 miles away.
- Total Rent: $2,750
- Security Deposit: $1,000 total - $500 per person.
- Utilities: PG&E, EBMUD, Sonic Internet covered by tenants. Landlord pays Trash.
About myself:
- 30 y/o gay man, I’ve been in the Bay since 2014 with a brief stint in SoCal during the pandemic
- I work from home full-time in the Music Touring industry. Will happily offer to invite you to a show as my +1!
- Omnivore, regularly cooks meat-based food at home.
- Sociable introvert. I value open communication with roommates, the occasional house + chosen family meal together, and a healthy balance between alone time and community time.
- I like to keep a clean and tidy living environment, but understand we’re all human.
- Personal interests include sunset bike rides, cozy movie nights at home or the local indie theaters, hosting dinner parties, staying active, music and concerts, hikes with friends, and the occasional late-night out dancing 😇
