Redwoods in Emeryville? Yes! I live in Emery Bay Village, a peaceful condo community ringed by these beautiful trees and filled with greenery. (You can find out more about it online.) The buildings are two-bedroom four-plexes (mine is on the first floor, with a patio) and townhouses. There is truly nothing comparable locally, and I’ve been lucky enough to live here since 1989. I’m looking for someone compatible to share this space with me.
The available bedroom has an east-facing window, a large closet with mirrored doors, and a loft for storage (or sleeping, if you happen to be short). There are a washer and dryer in the condo and a shower and tub in the bathroom. There’s also free off-street parking.
Safeway and Home Depot are a few blocks away. A short drive will take you to the freeway. A nearby free shuttle and a pedestrian and bike bridge both go to Powell Street Plaza (including Trader Joe’s) and the Bay Street shopping center, and another shuttle will bring you to the unusual supermarket Berkeley Bowl.
I’m a left-leaning, older lesbian with an ethnically mixed family and a love of reading, journal writing, cooking, music, needlework and a quiet environment. Also in residence is a sociable cat named Funny.
