Come live in a quiet neighborhood connected to lots of nature, with covid conscious goth, trans, queer, and disabled housemates! We have the biggest room in the house available for short term or long term rentals. You would have access to the washer/dryer in the garage, a driveway for off-street parking, a 1/3 acre backyard with several fruit trees, your own private bathroom, and access to all the house common spaces of course.
Who we are:
- O is mid-twenties, works from home as an artist and has appointments at tattoo studios in Berkeley and Oakland that he's out of the house for often. Ze is queer+trans, white, AuDHD, and multiply disabled. He uses a wheelchair regularly both in and outside the house. He loves movies, especially sci fi and horror, gardening, camping, cooking, and crafting! In the evenings, ze is usually chilling in his cozy robe or pjs and watching tv or working on hirs D&D games.
- M is mid-twenties, works PT at a coffee house, and helps with caring for our dog! She is queer, trans, brown, and multiply disabled, often using a crutch to get around. They love cooking shows and competitions, minecraft and other video games, smoking, especially in the backyard, dogs, cooking, board games, and crafting. While at home, M is often resting, hanging out with our dog, and watching cooking shows!
- we have a 2yo small puppy! She's extremely cuddly and still being trained, so she can be really energetic and excited
- we also have a bearded dragon who lives in a tank in the living room. She's very sweet and silly!
What the house has:
- washer/dryer in garage (down 3 tall steps)
- dishwasher, stove, oven, large fridge + freezer
- extra storage or art studio space, office room to share
- central heating, no A/C, but there are ceiling fans in each room

- open to 1 person or a couple
- pet-friendly, as long as they get along with dogs and lizards!
- someone who still masks regularly in public/at work/in social situations and takes other c0vid precautions
- someone who likes to garden and enjoys contributing to the house as a community
- someone who can socialize in the evenings and maybe participate in group dinners or movie nights or small parties
- bonus if you are a handyman, electrician, plumber, or carpenter and can trade some work for discounted rent!
- 420 friendly
