* Large, sunny upstairs furnished master bedroom with private bathroom available for monthly or temporary rental
* Bedroom contains queen bed, dressers, and a standing desk + monitor
* Shared lofted area upstairs which in practice is mostly left to the upstairs roommate (aka you) unless we need to access instruments, upstairs books, or water the upstairs tree
* Laundry in garage, plenty of street parking
* Walkable to El Cerrito Del Norte BART, one stop away from El Cerrito Plaza shopping hub, 10 mins away from UC Berkeley
* RENT $1,190/mo for a single person, $1,390/mo for two people. Month-to-month rent, rent paid upfront each month. Longer lease can be negotiated. Shorter/temporary stays are also welcome at a higher daily or weekly price.
* Water, trash, hi-speed fiber internet included in rent. PG&E is split among roommates.
ABOUT YOU
* Not a smoker, does not do drugs, enjoys living in a clean, chill household with a young family and baby
* A german shepherd and cat live on this property. For short stays, you do not need to like dogs, we can put him briefly outside upon request, but must be OK with him living downstairs
* For longer stays we do ask that you are willing to get to know the dog (let him sniff you) since no one wants to listen to him bark constantly!! He always barks when people go in and out but stops once he gets to sniff, he's just loud 🙄
* MUST BE OK with cats since the cat hangs out upstairs pretty much 100% of the time.
* NO PETS. We already have too many!
ABOUT US
* My husband and I live downstairs with our 8 month old son and pets. I am a stay-at-home mom and he works most days from 8-4
* We enjoy jamming on bass guitar and piano, going out on hikes and swims with the dog and baby, cooking, and gardening
* Hubby is into motorcycling, I do a little design and draw webtoons/comics in my spare time. Former software engineer
* Pretty low-key household and would like to keep it that way. We can be either social or not social with roommates depending on how much privacy you prefer
