Large, fantastic, and fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and sink. Shareable workspace in a separate room where you can have a desk without cramming one into your room. Comfortable living room with most streaming services already available. Fast internet on site. Clean bathroom shared with one other person, but you get your own sink. New and amazing tub and shower as well.
About 4-ish miles to your choice of 3 different Bart stations. Similar distance to downtown Concord, and a short, winding drive to Hwy 4.
We keep our shared spaces clean and free from clutter/debris, and are looking for someone who can vibe with that.
Current occupants are two "alphabet-friendly" (lgbtqia/bipoc/etc are welcomed and encouraged) middle-aged fellas who are both excellent cooks and share several meals a month of great food. 3rd occupant will be welcomed to join us at any time. Omnivorous household with no judgement allowed. We are both creators/builders/tinkerers when not engaged with our day jobs. We both work full-time, one of us with a variable schedule that includes some very early mornings (Thursday, Saturday.)
Regarding Pets:
There is currently one extremely shy cat in residence. Pets are welcome ONLY if they are housebroken, socialized, and good with kids.
Other stuff:
The home is an occasional destination for our extended tribe of friends for BBQs, gatherings, or as a meeting point for events. Many of this tribe have children, but none reside in the household. That's the reason for the caveat on pets above.
420 and Tobacco friendly, but both must be enjoyed outside. No hard drug use. Out back is a massive yard with some planter beds that could be put to use. Out front there is off-street parking available and we often have some bovine and turkey neighbors grazing across the street.
The Business Details:
$1100/month + 1/3 utilities/internet. (averages ~ $110 - $180 each depending on season) $500 deposit. Month to Month or full term of 5 to 6 months, open to accommodating your needs with respect to lease duration.
We won't judge you on your credit score, but proof of income/employment will be required, rental references also welcome.
