- 2 minute walk to Berkeley Bowl. Like, 2 minutes from our front door. It's impossible to overstate how nice this is!
- Hundreds of the best bars, cafes, restaurants and shops nearby
- 5 min walk to Ashby BART if you need to commute to SF or Oakland/East Bay via train
- Night Owl (800?) Bus stop is right next to our house
- 10 min bike ride to UC Berkeley campus (super bike-friendly neighborhood)
- Buses to downtown Berkeley and Oakland are right on our street
- Private gated backyard with a firepit and string lights (we love hanging out and entertaining our friends here in the summer)
- Private garage
- Large kitchen with modern appliances and a MASSIVE fridge
- Bay windows in living room and available bedroom
- Vintage Craftsman fireplace (this is no nice for cozy movie nights in the winter)
- Vintage porcelain claw tub w/ mosaic tile + stain glass in the main bathroom
- Ample street parking by the house
- Hardwood floors on the entire entry level
- Gorgeous daylighting + tall ceilings
- Shared rec/music room <3 you are very welcome to play with our toys :') we just ask that you be responsible, respect the space/quiet hours (we use this space very seldom - it's just nice to have and kind of a flex tbh)
- Edith has an adorable torty named Petra who stays in Edith's room 99% of the time, but she's very sweet and a big bonus for sure
- Eedie also comes with a cool record player and tons of killer vinyl 😏 and a genuine Tascam Porta Studio... if you're into tape stuff.
We're really hoping we find someone who appreciates the unique vibe of the space and wants to share in/build it up with us. Peter lived here through the pandemic with a group of friends and claims this house saved them all from certain death and boredom. The lighting is gorgeous and there's just a super nurturing, creative energy here. Maria (friend/previous housemate) used to sprawl the furniture in the living room out, lay down a tarp and paint massive acrylic paintings in front of the bay window downstairs... Eric (former housemate) set his projector screen up on the garage wall and we watched movies outside with friends in the summer. Peter helps with a music venue around the corner and one time the entire venue - bands and all - came over for an afterparty show in our music room. We've had so many good memories here!
