We are looking for a new roommate to join us in our spacious North Berkeley home starting July 1. We are interested in someone who is clean, kind, and especially excited about living communally and sharing responsibility for the space.
The house is located in a quiet North Berkeley neighborhood. In addition to the rooms pictured above, there is a very large unfinished garage with a washer/dryer, workbench, and lots of room for storage. There is also a backyard with a grill, seating area, lemon and passionfruit bushes, and a rose garden.
About Us
We are two working professionals in our mid-to-late 20s who enjoy a quiet, clean house with the occasional social gathering.
Zachary ("Zeej") does videography and animation, loves circus and comedy improv, and will occasionally do yoga in the living room. You'll also find him juggling in the front yard whenever the sun is out.
Evening Waterbury is a friendly and considerate housemate who enjoys maintaining a welcoming home environment and contributing to the shared spaces.
I am moving out of the house on July 1 and am looking for someone to take over my room.
About You
We are looking for a relaxed individual who preferably does not work from home, though that's totally okay if you do. We'd like someone who is clean, kind, communicative, and okay with silly jokes because there are a lot of them around here. The house is 420 friendly/tolerant.
About the Space
The house is a 3-bedroom home in North Berkeley. The larger bedroom pictured is available, and the smaller bedroom may be available instead if you are interested. The house has one bathroom, a dishwasher, plenty of street parking and a beautiful backyard garden, and even a tent sauna.
The household uses a chore wheel and keeps the space clean throughout the week, with a more concentrated house clean on Sundays.
Location
A quiet street in North Berkeley where neighbors garden and walk their dogs. Conveniently located near Trader Joe's, Monterey Market, and North Berkeley BART.
Rent
$1,417/month plus approximately $~100/month in utilities.
