Bedroom is 12' x 14', has access to large deck with shelves and closet space for clothes and everything else you need to store. With this, you also get access to the rest of the house such as the living room, dining room, additional living room, center courtyard, and back yard (which includes a large garden).
The bathroom is shared with one housemate but a private bathroom arrangement can be made for another bathroom in the house upon request.
We are located close by to UC Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as well as near LaVal's on Euclid and several supermarkets such as Andronico's and Safeway.
This community is in a safe neighborhood and quiet most of the time with occasional noise in the community.
Laundry (adjacent to bedrooms) and kitchen privileges designated space in refrigerator/freezer and pantry (in modern kitchen) provided.
Rent is $800/month payable on the first of every month and includes wi-fi and utilities. Whether you work in tech, are a working professional or UC Berkeley student, we are open to meeting you.
If you are a UC Berkeley student, ideally you are looking to live until at least the end of the Spring 2026 semester. For anyone else, ideally at least a year. Although we are looking for a more long-term housemate, this is on a month-to-month basis.
The bedroom is for one person only, no couples. No pets and no stayovers. No smokers. Extra storage is available.
House contains Vivint home security system which includes doors, windows, motion detectors, smoke, and CO2 detectors, outside cameras, outside lighting as well as a Ring video doorbell.
Parking garage can allow one additional car so if you need to drive, you have that option as well at no additional charge.
Home is occupied by a freelance management consultant and a marketing analyst.
We have one friendly 8-year-old border collie who LOVES to go on walks and make new friends. We are social but tend to be low key for the most part.
