The house is a large five bedroom house occupied by two family members. It is located in a unique, beautiful, quiet, and safe North Berkeley neighborhood. Enjoy an almost country setting, with easy and quick access to all the great urban amenities that Berkeley has to offer. UC Berkeley is easily accessible by several bus lines, a short walk (30 min.) or 15- minute bike ride. Lively upper Solano is a close 8 minute walk (down-hill). The San Francisco bus line is nearby and BART is accessible by bus. The famous Monterrey Market is a 5-minute car ride. There are several markets accessible by foot. Ride a bike up to Tilden Park and access miles of bike riding including Orinda and Lafayette. There is ample street parking.
Us: We are two lively and active professionals. We do not have pets due to allergies, but have an occasional pet friend visit and stay with us for very short stays. We would be glad to help orient you if you are a visiting professor, scholar, or new to the area.

Rent: $1,200, with limited kitchen and use of the refrigerator and microwave use, OR discount without any kitchen use. Utilities included—but we are ecologically minded and follow drought guidance. We also limit high energy use during certain hours per PG&E guidance. First month’s rent. Deposit equivalent to first month rent.
