Our home is a beautiful, clean, pet-free, smoke-free, craftsman home in the heart of Elmwood. Phenomenal location on Russell Street, just east of College Ave., steps away from Baker and Commons Cafe, Cafenated Cafe, Nabolom Bakery, Italian Homemade, 5 Tacos, La Mediterranee, Gordo's, Rialto Cinemas, and the Elmwood Laundry. UC Berkeley, BART, Whole Foods, Berkeley Bowl, Safeway and Trader Joe's are all within a 5-10 minute bike ride. While there is no laundry on site, the local laundromat is less than a block away.
Room is quite large and is on the first floor (north and west exposure). The bathroom for this room features a spa tub!
Our house currently consists of 3 men and 2 women with an average age of 29. We are a mix of working professionals and grad students (a content specialist for a meal delivery service, software engineer, sociology student, researcher in biotech, and a recent grad). We run, climb, do yoga, and hike the trails in the Berkeley Hills. We are looking for people who are friendly and outgoing. We like to keep our home neat and orderly (cleaning service helps a lot), and our home is strictly non-smoking. We try to maintain quiet times from Monday to Thursday, 11pm to 8am and Friday and Saturday, 12am to 10am.
We have set aside Sunday May 10th from 7:00pm to 9pm to meet interested parties. Please send us a brief bio (what you do for work/school, your interests/passions, experience with and preference in "group living") and we will try to find a time to have you come by on Sunday so you can see the place and meet us. If you like the place and you like us we hope to make a quick decision.
