Our fantastic housemate S. is moving out, onto another phase of her life... and we're looking for an equally harmonious replacement: maybe you? ;)
You'd be sharing a large, elegant bathroom with a girl (S.). The 3rd occupant (J.) has own bathroom.
Because of the "killer" location and the gorgeous house, we're getting a tons of replies - but we want to make sure we find a superb housemate match, to continue our "tradition" of a very harmonious, congenial, warm community :)

- Walking distance from the Berkeley Rose Garden
- A medium walk from the Rockridge area
- Within 1-3 blocks from several bus lines, including the LBL shuttle

* our friends visiting by car have never had problems finding parking

* clean bench - perfect for picnics or small outdoor gatherings with your friends
* plants and trees encircling the house - and well-maintained by the management (we added our own flowers on the steps)
๐ ARTISTIC DECORATIONS
* we put effort into that, but NOT SET on anything! We welcome your artistic input, to personalize the house to your taste
* the house is very elegant, throughout. High ceilings, a long corridors suitable for a fashion-show runway (maybe will organize one!)

* in addition to the large private closet in your room, there's a good deal of shelves in the corridor

* $1,600/mo (it may be ok to turn it into a "double" if everyone else agrees to it)
* $200 discount on the FIRST month - as a a thank you from us, your housemates, if you complete the signup process QUICKLY, and de-stress us. As a thank you for doing that, we're willing to pay a bit of your rent during the first month. (We always pay the full 1,600 to the landlord)
* A deposit of roughly the same amount is required
* You will be on the lease, on equal footing with everyone else
* Utilities / Internet are extra (and shared) : we have a good WiFi, of course ;)

๐S. : a female Cal student, a junior from Taiwan studying English, who moved in a year ago. S. is passionate about Comparative Literature.
You'd be sharing a large bathroom with her.
๐J. : a non-binary male Cal alumnus, originally from Italy, who moved in a year ago. J. is a foodie artist/scientist who loves to explore the Bay Area, speaks several languages, and does research in the biotech field.
J. has a separate bathroom.
๐S. : the departing housemate, is moving onto a a new phase of her life. She can tell you her experience living in this house... and you can discuss with her whatever of her furniture you'd like to keep. We'll miss her - but are excited to greet another awesome housemate!
