I am a 41 yo Korean-American (no shoes in the house), single professional woman. I work in healthcare and spend my downtime relaxing at home or exercising or seeing friends. People describe me as warm and friendly and calm, and I tend to keep things low-key at home, to balance out my extroverted work-life. I moved into this apartment about 2 years ago at a time of transition in my life, and it seems like it would be a good home for someone else who is making an intentional life transition, a graduate student, a contemplative, or something along those lines.
Landlord lives next door--this is a duplex--and is keen on having someone with a clean background check and stable finances. Street parking is easy, laundry is downstairs, common room is furnished. We are equidistant from Rock ridge BART and Ashby BART (about a 20-min walk in either direction), 2 blocks from College Ave.
