The house is 5 miles from UCB and 1 mile from the El Cerrito Plaza BART station. It is a third of a mile to the 72 bus and has easy access to the 580/80 freeway.
The room available is approximately 11' x 11' with access to both the living room and kitchen. The rent is $950 plus utilities for a single occupant. The living room and bathroom are shared with another tenant, who works full time and helps to maintain the household.
The house is close to a lot of great restaurants and shops. El Cerrito Plaza is right down the street and includes a Trader Joe's, Barnes and Noble, Lucky, Macaroni Grill and more. If you enjoy Asian cuisine you can also visit Pacific East Mall (.5 mi. away), which hosts the Ranch 99 grocery store. Costco is a five minute drive and El Cerrito Natural Grocery is a only a few blocks away. The house is very bright with natural lighting and kept clean. Street parking is widely available and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet.
The yard is well kept and we all help to make sure that it is well maintained.
We leave our outside shoes outside.
We keep all common areas clean and organized for everyone.
We reuse, reduce and recycle.
We leave the kitchen looking just as good as how we found it.. but the cleaner the better.
We conserve energy and water whenever possible.
Please no smokers and no pets...
Please provide references and have good credit...
First month, last month, and a security deposit are required...
Minimum one year lease.
