Position Overview: The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures. This position will be responsible for reconciling discrepancies in inventory and notifying stakeholders of irregularities along with ensuring data is properly entered and maintained in ERP & Cultivara to comply with all state and local regulations. The Inventory Coordinator will also be responsible for researching inventory variances and working through the feedback of other stakeholders to identify discrepancies, why they happened and offer fixes, such as additional training or refinement of SOP’s.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Insures all cannabis reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical and Cultivara amounts.
Tracks movement of all cannabis within building(s) and between departments.
Conducts daily, weekly and monthly inventory audits and analysis to solve inventory problems. Interacts with team members to catch and correct inventory errors in real time.
Assists in the coordination of communication between departments regarding inventory movement including packaging, testing, waste, etc.
Prepares inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks over time.
Distributes reports as needed.
Oversees the flow of inventory stock in and out of company’s warehouse facility.
Recommends operational policies and best practices to company’s management to resolve and eliminate inventory discrepancies.
Accurately and timely records products, cannabis batches, test results and any other inventory related requests.
Ensures each product process has a proper Cultivara tag.
Receives, verifies amounts and log into inventory and Cultivara any cannabis or distillate oil for the Kitchen.
Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Works in a team environment and the ability to take direction, work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Monitors and reviewing information from materials, events or environment to detect or assess problems.
Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by Supervisor at any time.
