Position: Floor Guardian
We’re looking for Floor Guardians. Someone who helps usher threads full of memory from one family to the next with heart.
This role is part hospitality, part caretaking, part logistics, part art practice.
You might be a good fit if you:
Show up on time (early) full of energy, nourished, calm, and ready to help others
Are calm and steady around big emotions (the kind that come with raising kids) and have “oldest sibling from a big family” energy or generally love working with families and children.
Are deeply interested in hospitality and making people feel welcome, are not easily flustered and can hold a warm container in a busy space.
Enjoy merchandising, organizing, inventorying, and maintaining a beautiful sales floor
Care about helping parents and grandparents move clothing thoughtfully to the next family
Big bonuses (not required, but loved):
Sewing skills or experience with textile arts
Background in creative arts, fine art, or craft
Have experience with (or interest in) Waldorf education, the intersection of fashion and art, or brand building.
Comfort supporting workshops and events (e.g. Make Your Own Bedtime Story, Needle-Felt a Small Mouse)
A personal art practice <3 if you’re an artist, please send examples of your work
Schedule & Pay:
Wednesday–Sunday
Monday & Tuesday off
Full-time or Part Time
$25/hour, with room to grow, bonuses, and % of sales
Looking for someone who wants to be here long-term <3
This role will become the right hand to the owner
Minimum three references required.
