Hi,
My name is Cindy. I am a 67 years old who is Mom and Nana. I watch my grands on Fridays. However, I am also a maintenance tech. For over 45 years I've worked as a carpenter apprentice, apartment manager/ maintenance tech, a maintenance trades instructor, a Code Enforcement Inspector, and back to maintenance. Building/ repairing is in my blood. I've been working/ creating for so long that its apart of who I am. I don't claim to know it all. I'm willing to learn and/ or teach what I do know. I'm seeking a maintenance technician position M-Thur if possible. I'm a hard worker, and a team player. I understand about doing the job correctly so I don't have to waste time going back a 2nd time. I also know that if I'm not sure how to do a certain repair. Don't waste more than 15 minutes of time and money trying to figure it out. Time is money, wasting it on something you've never done before without informing your supervisor is wasteful.
I have knowledge in basic carpentry, ie; fencing, framing repair, dry-rot repair, siding, shower enclosure, etc. Electrical, ie; light fixture, ceiling fans, switches, outlets, garage disposal, dishwasher installation. Plumbing, ie, faucets, flex lines, toilet installation or inner tank repair, sinks and vanities. Sheetrock installation including tape, texture, prime and paint. I can also do landscaping such as, weedeating, hedging, minor tree trimming. Astroturf installation. Please know, I take pride in what I do. I'm not perfect but I give 110% on everything. I'm currently working for a property management company however work has slowed by 80%.
I have references and can pass background checks. I look forward to hearing from you.
