I am seeking full-time employment as an investigator.
As a former journalist I am experienced at investigations requiring both online and archival (courthouse, library) research, eliciting information from a diverse range of members of society, and "finding things."
While working on a widely-reported legal case as a linguist and while also participating in document review, I found, on my own initiative, evidence establishing opponent's MO, that was used in a spoliation motion. The case ultimately went to trial and I was listed as a witness.
For a nonprofit org, I recently served process on a woman with no established residence, having found her place of employment using open source investigation skills.
I am not a licensed private investigator, and am not soliciting business as such. I would most prefer to work at a law firm or under a "qualified manager" (a licensed PI term), but have experience in the startup community and government (policy & diplomacy) and would eagerly consider other fields that can use my skills.
NOTE: I get a lot of spam from this post. Regrettably I will only respond to inquiries that demonstrate it has been read by a human responding because of the substance.
