Part-Time Property Manager / Property Coordinator — North Oakland / East Bay
Small local owner with 7 buildings (19 residential units) in Oakland is seeking a reliable
part-time property manager / property coordinator to assist with day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role working directly with ownership (not a large management company).
Location: Oakland / East Bay (North Oakland preferred) Compensation: $25 – $35 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Flexible part-time (approx. 5–15 hours/week to start)
Responsibilities
Coordinate unit turnovers (cleaning, painting, repairs)
Respond to tenant calls, texts, and maintenance requests
Schedule and manage contractors and repairs
Visit properties as needed to check work and handle issues
Send rent reminders and basic tenant communication
Assist with general property operations
Requirements
Must live in East Bay (Oakland preferred)
Reliable transportation and ability to visit properties
Organized, responsive, and dependable
Experience with property management, maintenance coordination, or similar work
Comfortable communicating with tenants and vendors
Highly Preferred
Spanish speaking / bilingual (English + Spanish)
