PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: There's some kind of phishing scam wherein "buyers" pretend interest and send an email with a local phone number. Thinking it legit and responding with one's own phone number, they do NOT respond again. On checking the provided numbers, they turn out to belong to state agency or corporate service departments. On one occasion, Google blocked my email account immediately after replying to one provided by a "customer", citing "possible illegal activity", and I had to spend time recovering it. It points to new flavors of useless scum trolling Craigslist for legit emails and telephone numbers.
SO: To begin, I will ONLY respond via Craiglist's anonymous chat system. It may take a little while for me to get back to you, but I will check in.
AFTER a few correspondence indicates a sane, real, responsible adult (i.e: HAS READ and UNDERSTANDS this post, speaks in direct terms, isn't looking for social connection, follows up in timely fashion, communicates reliably, is not generated by Chat GPT etc.), THEN we can exchange cell numbers for the actual exchange. Unfortunately, this is in the interest of keeping safe in the Craigslist environment. It's not Craigslist's fault that shitty people try to ruin a good thing. Thanks for understanding.
