Watch out for someone, maybe going by the name Joel, selling a Tamron Teleconverter, model TC-X14. He was willing to ship and get paid using PayPal, but demanded a full Paypal payment using the "Friends and Family" option. This is almost always a SCAM to rob your money. He professed to be an honest religious clergyman. His email responses are VERY SUSPICIOUS. Immediately, after I responded to him that he would be reported to Craigslist, the listing was removed.

I recommend you DO NOT purchase any camera equipment by mail in the SF Bay area.
