Two year-old cane Corso needs a forever home (brentwood / oakley)

This sweet boy is a 2 year old neutered Cane Corso. He is fully vaccinated, kennel trained, and was recently rescued from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter.
He LOVES toys, takes treats gently, and is very dog friendly — he actually looks to other dogs for emotional support and comfort.
He walks great on leash. He is NOT aggressive in any way. Not a mean bone in his body.
He is a sensitive soul who has clearly been through a lot. He is shy / nervous at first and is still learning he is safe. He needs a calm home and a person who can work with a shy pup and help continue building his confidence.
He does have separation anxiety — so he will do best with someone who is home more often, and another friendly dog would be a huge emotional support for him.
He likes having his kennel as his “safe place”, but prefers to sleep close to people — so having his kennel in a bedroom or nearby is ideal.
He is such a good boy who tries so hard. He deserves someone who will finally choose him forever.
