The Studios
All studios are private with locking doors and open ceilings (a mix of 8ft partition walls and full walls to the warehouse ceiling). There's a work sink and a kitchenette just outside the two studio.
Studio 2 - This is a medium sized studio on the 2nd floor and up a flight of stairs. It doesn’t have a direct window but a skylight in the ceiling above. The studio is ~150 square feet and $400 per month.
The Lease
Month-to-month lease, with 1 month's rent amount for a deposit. Move-in with the first month's rent and the deposit. Utilities are free, including fast wifi.
The Building
Our space is private within a warehouse complex full of maker space, framers, and creative small businesses. There's a shared restroom downstairs at the building entrance. Free parking while using the studio with no hourly limit.
The Work
No welding, open flame, music rehearsal, or (heavy) woodworking in the studios. Occasional light woodwork considered (stretcher bar building etc). No client-based work (e.g. hair styling, tattoo work, etc.) Our space is 110v power, so no 220v kilns. All other mediums welcome – painting, sculpture, textiles, writing, photography, video, etc. Listening to music softly is cool, but because of the open ceilings be prepared to wear headphones to respect your neighbors.
